Trade Pencil

Without doubt, this is the perfect pencil for wood-turners and wood-workers. It has a magnet in the base to attach to a machine. It has a flattened edge so it will not easily roll off a work surface. It has a hole to attach a lanyard. It will write on paper as well as wood, metal and plastic (*). Plus, the metal composite tip will last for years without sharpening.

Crafted from a Bushmills whiskey barrel, each pencil is approximately 10cm long and comes in a presentation box with two extra screw-in tips.

The pencil shown is an example only. These are hand made natural items so there will be differences in the colour and patina and finished style of the item you receive. It will still be very nice, but it will vary from the image shown.

(*) it struggles on rough sawn timber and will not work on shiny metal surfaces. I've not tested it on every type of wood or material used in construction, but it is extremely versatile.
