Barrel Crafts was established in 2019 to create functional crafts and furniture from retired whiskey barrels.
All of our recycled barrels are sourced locally from the Bushmills distillery in Northern Ireland.

Based in Whitehead on the Antrim coast (15 miles east of Belfast) Barrel Crafts is made up of husband and wife team Vincent and Valerie.
And of course our pack of faithful four-legged helpers who love to get their noses in.
Making things better ...
We design and test new product all the time, but not everything makes it to production. We want our work to be creative and functional. A bit of wow-factor is nice too, but above all it has to have a purpose.
We don't just want to make things ... we want to make things better.

Everything we make has been thoughtfully designed and engineered using quality oak staves and premium fittings.
Infused with whiskey and steeped in character, the oak barrels produce tactile crafts that are a pleasure to own and a joy to use.
Where to find us ...
I am in St George's Market, Belfast, every Friday (8-2pm), Saturday (9-3pm) and Sunday (10-3pm).
We also have some exclusive pieces in The Norn Irish Gift Shop in Belfast city centre (next to Waterstones).
