Made from three select pieces of a Bushmills whiskey barrel, these serving paddles are a decorative and functional way to serve.
We've taken the chime end of a whiskey barrel and enhanced the curve to produce a small charcuterie board with heaps of character.

The paddles are approximately 35cm long and 20cm at the widest point. They are cleaned and sanded to leave a semi-smooth finish. They are then oiled and waxed with food-friendly finishes. These paddles are not entirely refined and there will be some minor cracks and imperfections in the wood.
Cleaning and caring ...
Wipe clean and dry straight away. Do not allow to soak and do not put in a dishwasher. If the grain swells and rises after use you can leave as is or sand down with a fine grit sandpaper. Oiling is not essential, but will enhance the colour of the wood ... any food-friendly oil can be used and mineral oil is recommended.
