A whiskey barrel designed bottle stop made from the wood of a Bushmills whiskey barrel.
The wood is taken from a Bushmills whiskey barrel and turned on my lathe to resemble the barrel they came from. Bushmills is the oldest and largest distiller in Northern Ireland with a product loved the world over.
These bottle stops look great plugging the top of a bottle and the tapered rubber fins mean they will fit most bottle sizes ... not just whiskey bottles, they're good for wine, beer and other drinks.
Cleaning and caring ...
Wipe clean and dry straight away. Do not allow to soak and do not put in a dishwasher. If the grain swells and rises after use you can leave as is or sand down with a fine grit sandpaper. Oiling is not essential, but will enhance the colour of the wood ... any food-friendly oil can be used and mineral oil is recommended.
